Martin Estrada Luna

In 7th grade I became friends with Martin Estrada Luna. We were in Tieton Middle School in Washington state. I remember playing football at recess with him. I moved away and moved back in the 10th grade. There we became pretty good friends. He was a nice guy, a good friend. There where a small group of us. He wasn’t the leader nor the leader type. He was easy going and had a good sense of humor.
At the time there was some gang influence in our lives. XIV Vampiru (blood) a friend of ours brought it back from California. Martin and several others of our friends jumped in and became part of the gang. I never did. I remained part of the group however. One day when I was talking about jumping in Martin said he didn’t want to jump me in thought I was to tough and it wouldn’t be fun to be hit by me. Honestly I think he had compassion on me. He knew I wasn’t a fighter.
I have seen compassion, humor, and loyalty in Martin Estrada. However it’s been a very long time since I saw him last. Then he was just 19 years old. Going on 16 years now. I pray for his sake the allegations are not true about my old friend Martin Estrada.
It is extremely tragic about the murders, mass killings, and graves. My heart and prayers go out to all those who have been hurt by these killings. It is a terrible crime and whoever is responsible should be punished accordingly. I do feel Martin Estrada who was deported back to Mexico in 2009 hasn’t had the time to be the Gang/Mofia Leader. Perhaps a member but not the top dog.
